Mission Statement
Team Nanaimo 's mission is “To build community support for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games while ensuring local opportunities and a strong sport and cultural legacy for our city.”
With geographic boundaries identical to those of School District 68, Team Nanaimo wishes to ensure all organizations such as businesses, community groups and individuals in the catchment's area have every opportunity to capitalize and enjoy the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic experience.
